Texans Rookie DeAndre Hopkins Passed Concussion Tests and Will Be Ready For Chargers on MNF

Rookie Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins will be back on the field for the Monday Night Game against our San Diego Chargers. Hopkins suffered a concussion in the preseason and he passed his concussion tests, so he is able to join in with the Texans during practice.

Hopkins is a talented receiver that should be getting the start opposite of Andre Johnson. He will give the team another option in the passing game. The Texans have been trying to find a receiving threat to place opposite of Johnson and they think they have found it.

Time for the Chargers defenders to shut them down. Derek Cox and Shareece Wright will have a tough task in their first game of the season. Time to see what these two really can do. The preseason wet our appetite, or made us want to throw up, but the starters will be in the game for every snap and we can see what we really have on this roster. Time to shut down the Texans passing attack.

One good hit across the middle and he will be back on the sidelines! Freeney, and Telesco have a ton of experience playing the Texans twice a year forever, that has to give us some insight as to what they are doing. They haven’t really changed schemes for the past 4 – 5 years. We on the other hand are brand spanking new, hope we catch them slacking on us and Bolts steal the W. Let’s do this. Bolt Up!!

truth… we should be pretty prepped for them

Wright’s going to put the hurt on this guy with his magical injuring ability on defense. Tough pair of WR’s to handle on the first week, What has Cox done going against Johnson in the past?

“Derek Cox and Shareece Wright will have a tough task in their first game of the season. ” – Not if Freeney, Johnson, & Liuget have anything to say about it ; )

I think our defense is underrated right now but will open many eyes this season and next. I think it will shut down the texans personally. Our offense however may need one or two more years to become what it once was. We need to find our identity on oline and get one or two more weapons to put it in the end zone
