Robert Meachem Part Of Chargers Cuts Today

The San Diego Chargers have already started making a few moves today. They need to get down to 53 on the roster by the afternoon. I will update this post with all the releases that we make.

Robert Meachem’s time on the San Diego Chargers is done.

LB Thomas Keiser is part of today’s cuts. Keiser stood out in the 3rd game of the preseason. He got to the quarterback and picked up sacks. He was battling for the last linebacker spot on the roster, but lost out. The Chargers will be on the waiver wire to fill this spot. Frank Beltre may hold it down for a little while, but we may need more depth at the position. I haven’t noticed too much of Tourek Williams this preseason.

Here are the cuts from today so far:
Tackle Nick Becton
Linebacker Frank Beltre
Tight End Ben Cotton
Cornerback Marcus Cromartie
Defensive End Logan Harrell
Running Back Michael Hill
Cornerback Josh Johnson
Linebacker Thomas Keiser
Wide Receiver Robert Meachem
Center David Molk
Tight End David Rolf
