Max Starks/King Dunlap:

Last week, The Chargers competition at left tackle continued. The Chargers rotated their 1st and 2nd string left tackles in order to see who would take a grasp of the starting position. Against the Bears, the left tackle competition was no contest. Max Starks allowed his defender to beat him with ease, which led to a sack/fumble. Starks just looks a step too slow when the pass rush is on and can’t move his feet quick enough to get good protection. King Dunlap on the other hand, has been a nice surprise thoughout training camp and the first two preseason games. As of now the starting left tackle job is Dunlap’s to lose, but he will have to show continued improvement in order to convince the coaches that he is the right choice at left tackle.

Cool format, but you are missing Clary. He needs to start doing some damn blocking! The two plays you mentioned for Rivers were Clary misses. Coincidence? I think not.

If Fluker can get his footwork up to NFL standards, I think he could be the best Olineman in his draft class

I love Fluker’s attitude, he’s a beast in the running game and I like how pumped he gets after bulldozing a defender. I’ve kinda been disappointed by Addae in pass coverage. Geathers is really good! But Jerideau isn’t meeting expectations, I think McFarland has a better shot over Jerideau he’s short and huge and could be a good depth NT. And also doesn’t Max Starks look like a fat Ryan Mathews?
