Manti Te'o Still In Walking Boot and Not Practicing

Manti Te’o is still in the boot. Does that concern anyone? Our highly drafted middle linebacker still is walking around with a boot around his foot and has been unable to practice since the first preseason game of the year.

Te’o is missing valuable time on the sidelines right now. He can get all the mental reps that he wants, but he needs action. He needs to get on the field and apply it in a game. He likely will sit out this week against the Arizona Cardinals, but if he is unable to get significant time against the San Francisco 49ers, then we may see more of Bront Bird and D.J. Smith then we would like in the opener against the Houston Texans.

I have no problem letting the rest until he’s better, since he’s not playing Saturday just give him til next Monday and see if he’s out there. Don’t want to push the guy back and the foot gets worse and becomes an lingering thing all year.

Thank you for not using that walking boot pic of him. I am SO tired of seeing it. Lol..

        I don’t get it. ??? Please elaborate.

No need to rush! I know it must be hard to sit out but we want him to be at his best for years! Hopefully, Gates is in his ear telling him how a foot injury can last and last and last while negatively affecting your play.

Why should i worry? This team is only going to win 6 games anyway….

      I’m disappointed in you

LOL i was joking. i forgot to put up the (sarcasm) tag. won’t happen again.

          Oh lol

Te’o is going to be a rock star. Any starter who sustains an injury in preseason sits. I don’t want to see him until he is smacking down Foster – game 1…Butler and Te’o are really going to kick ass together.
