Danny Woodhead And Brandon Taylor Expected To Play on Saturday

Is this some good news for a change on the injury front. Players are finally starting to make their way back to the field from injuries:

Good to see some of these guys get back on the field. Danny Woodhead has been a player that I have been looking forward to seeing on the field. I think he adds a different dimension on the field for the Chargers.

Brandon Taylor also is a player that I have been looking forward to seeing. He can add some depth in the secondary and can also compete for that starting job next to Eric Weddle.

Also great to see that Malcom is progressing so quickly. Would be great to see him out on the field in week 1 and Philip can get some good reps with the other receivers while he is out.

Finally, good news to report!! Thanks, really needed that. Can’t wait to see Woodhead in action. And Taylor is long over due to get his butt out there. Hope he turns into a monster in the secondary, he did one hell of a job at LSU. Bolt Up!!

Both players that I’m REALLY looking forward to seeing! Another one is te’o. Hope he’s out there as well.

‘Bout time for some Woodhead action!

  • Alex Pitrofsky

I’m excited to see how Danny is used in this offense. I bet he’ll be a beast. I also really, really, really want Te’o to play.

I think he’ll get some playing time but don’t expect MM to show anything to the rest of the NFL on how they plan to use him. This is a tune up and it’ll be his first action of the preseason. I think it’s going to be really vanilla.

That’s amazing getting Taylor and Woodhead to play this Saturday! I wished Te’o would get some reps in but better get him 100% healthy first then unleash against the Texans! By then he should be up to NFL speed and ready to rock. BoltUp!

I really do think Taylor will be great, he was amazing at LSU

Brandon Taylor is one hell of a player! Hope he makes the most out of his opportunity.

Happy to hear this! Can’t help but be a little nervous about Taylor coming back so early. Hope they aren’t rushing things. He just had surgery in January, so it hasn’t even been 9 months. Hope he plays well, though… How exciting!

If he ready, he’s ready. If not i trust T&M to call for the next man up, and bring in FA for depth.

  • Aaron Johnson

Im pulling for Taylor to start so we can move Gilchrist back to CB.

  • Lee

Now Gilchrist can play corner and give them some depth so we don’t look so horrid in coverage

I actually think Taylor has experience playing at nickel back too. That would be interesting…

Can’t wait to see Danny boy! Love Taylor too, hope he can show them what’s possible!

I don’t need to see Woodhead in preseason…hope he gets 2-3 series at most and then to the sidelines he goes.
Taylor needs to come in and flat out ball this game. We need to know what we are getting with him and we need to know now. He can’t be iffy…we can’t afford iffy. If he doesn’t demonstrate the skill set required – go after the Seahawks DB cuts.
I would like to pick up Richard Marshall right now and get him on the field now…it’s tryouts baby.

    Well it’s about dang time
