Well thats interesting, but until we see him consistently on the field I ain’t putting any money on that bet!

Ezekial Ansah got manhandled and got a lucky pick when he was push around and out of position, Arthur Brown is not even a starter and has yet to put a lick on first stringers, Jarvis Jones got a lucky fumble after abysmall debut and can’t bring pass rush pressure out of the 22 snaps he took.

Te’o is pretty much the only first stringer on here who has played first stringers like the Seahawks and contributed to embarrassing them, dude knows how to plug the lanes and suffocate the run and shut down TEs in zone and man.

I don’t buy that he can’t tackle, Eddie Lacy just made the St. Louis Rams along look like Te’o, So according to most people’s logic, they don’t belong in the NFL and can’t tackle, I think It’s safe to say most people are retarded.

And guess what, Michael Robinson is one of the best leading blockers in the game, you can youtube him laying out Ray Lewis when he tried to plug a hole like Manti, the diffrence between Manti and Ray lewis, Manti didn’t end up on his back, Does that mean Ray is’nt an HOF? Again suffice to say, most people don’t know crap how to analyze the game.

Te’o will be DROY when he leads the defense to Elite status.

Ansah’s play was nice not lucky (he was facing Mark Sanchez you gotta expect some INT’s) also Jones play was even better and not lucky at all. All these guys are going to be good, I think Manti’s knack for the INT’s might get him rookie of the year if he racks up enough tackles and a few sacks.

Te’o made no tackles in those series he played and I don’t even think he had any assisted tackles. While his pursuit to the ball was good, he was getting blocked by linemen constantly, so I’m not sure what you saw.

i saw a player that was wiling to take on the block so his teammate could make the stop. You should know this. His game might be better in pass defense however it remains to be seen if he can make the adjustment to get into the backfield. Right now he looks like he’s focused on the point of attack instead of exploiting the backside or any weakness in blocking scheme.

        • joerockt

Right, which you would think if persuit to the ball is his speciality, why would he want to take on blocks? That’s what the tackles and DE’s are for. He should be avoiding those blocks to go make the tackle. That’s MLB 101.

          • arnie

True. That’s why i wanted to see him in the cardinals game. He could get away with that in college, but in the NFL he needs to adjust. This would have been a good game to see if he’s starting to apply those adjustments.

What game did you watch? I didn’t see Teo make any tackles, defense any passes, and I believe the Seahawks won.

  • Gunnar Martin

That’s cool. Don’t mean nothin though. Seriously, I hate predictions. They just make people mad and hate each other. Let’s just wait to see them play and then decide who’s going to win a trophy.

These kind of prop bets are awesome if you win, put down a $100.00 just for fun. Let the season play out and if Manti does it you get $1,400.00, I had a friend back in the day pressure me into a prop bet in baseball for league leader in homers. I took Ryan Howard and he Took Adam Dunn, Howard was in his first full season and won, odds were 20 to 1 and I won $2,000.00 from bodog back when online betting was the business.

Tyler Eifert is a good bet at 14/1 bengals are going to throw to that guy all day long.

  • PakMaN

If he gets it, it’ll be because of the surrounding cast. Our D is loaded with talent, maybe not enough to consider depth but our starters are almost all potential pro bowlers.

Hey i’d like the Kid to beat the odds, just so he could stick it to everyone that’s doubted him. but right now, it is what it is.
