Broncos LB Von Miller Facing A 6-Game Suspension

Word on the street is Denver Broncos Stud LB Von Miller could be facing a 6-game suspension, not the believed 4 games.

The announcement could come as early as Monday but the sides are still negotiating the final number on a deal that is expected to be formalized sometime this week, the sources said.

Miller is not likely to go forward with an appeal, though all sides were trying to finalize the suspension’s conditions.

Miller met last Thursday with the NFL Players Association with some hope he could have the suspension reduced to four games, sources said, but another source familiar with the process was convinced it will be at least a six-game suspension. – ESPN

The Chargers don’t face Miller till week 10 in the year, so we still likely will likely see Von Miller in games. The Broncos are coming back to the pack though and allowing us and the Kansas City Chiefs a way to sneak into this thing. Injuries, suspensions and bad luck can really give another team an opportunity to sneak in. We have to stay away from the injury bug ourselves though.

Well that’s good news. Has it been verified that it was weed? I keep hearing them say “recreational drug”, but haven’t read anything stating what that drug is. Von Miller… the new Ricky Williams.. lol.

It’s legal. Are they going to start suspending players for drinking beer next?

      • JoseSD

In Colorado yes but its the NATIONAL Football League, so maybe they have to abide by federal laws when it comes to illegal substances and its against league rules too. Maybe if he had a prescription they would allow it

In MMA even if you have a medical card and are drug tested. If the test comes positive you are suspended even if you have said card. Nick Diaz was my example.

If by “players” you mean Von Miller.. then YES!!! Hahahaha!

Even if it’s legal, most companies are going to still have policies against its use, including the NFL.

Rumor is that it wasn’t just weed, but Molly as well.

it might be legal in some states but its not in the nfl or any other sports to have thc in your system.

Oh, really? Well that’s not good….. the getting busted part, I mean. I’m sure it felt good when he was rollin’. I just got this visual of Von Miller in a cuddle-puddle… “I love you, man… want massage?”… yikes!

The AFC west is having a rough pre-season!!! Hope we can get off the injury bandwagon and start solidifying the 53 man roster. We seem to be doing it to ourselves though…

I told you that Thug Life mentality doesn’t work out in the NFL.

That’s funny, I see 2 examples of a “snatch” in that gif.

What sucks is we don’t get to play them in there 1st 6 games. So we get to probably face a healthy and much fresher miller. Hopefully they lose to the ravens, giants, and cowboys. Doubt they would lose to the eagles, jags, and raiders.
