Chris Berman Will Call Chargers Monday Night Game Against Texans

The San Diego Chargers will get “Boomer” Chris Berman to call the game on Monday Night Football against the Houston Texans. It seems that Boomer gets his opportunities to call games for the Chargers. He is like the unofficial voice of the Chargers. Here is Berman’s thoughts on calling Monday Night’s game:

“As it turns out, at least in the early goings, I am the national voice of the San Diego Chargers. And that’s fine with me,” Berman said. “I’ve long had warm feelings for the team, the powder blues and the city. I’m anxious to see the new-look Chargers under head coach Mike McCoy, who will very much be flying under the radar this year, which is probably perfect in the eyes of Philip Rivers and the rest of the team. The AFC could be a little more open this year than it normally is, and the Chargers, of course, hope they are somehow in the mix and become one of those teams that no one looks at until Halloween.” – ESPN.com

I always have liked Boomer. Probably because he shows a lot of favoritism to our boys,

Ugh. A fun night of run on sentences and him losing his breath on them. So f’ing annoying. Boomer needs to go away.

Don’t be so hard on the old fart (still younger than me) Joe you look like an over stuffed Canolie yourself.

Oh, we’re going to get personal now? Sure you want to go there? I don’t usually pick on the elderly since they’re so close to death, so I feel bad for them, just like I do for you. But hey grandpa, if you’ve got nothing else better to do other than watch your “programs” and shit your diapers, then this Meatball is ready to roll anytime.

At 68 I still have more sauce than you; by the way my Son is only 23 and can bench press your truck with you in it. I am not a Grand Father, and if you want to push the matter let me know! You better have more than a Rocket in your arsenal. You became angry over a little cajoling – get over yourself.

“Took in a fair amount of the San Diego Chargers’ preseason opener against the Seattle Seahawks, and I can’t help but think that the Bolts could be a sleeper team in 2013 — a true sleeper. San Diego’s offense made some plays against Seattle’s stout D. Meanwhile, the defense stifled Russell Wilson and the Seahawks’ first-team offense — two drives, two punts.”

nice…. where were those power rankings?

Stefanie I believe you are correct when you say “a sleeper team in 2013 — a true sleeper” as in ZZZZZZ! The Bolts won’t wake up for two more seasons.

Source tells me Chargers WR Malcolm Floyd won’t return until at least Week 1 even if injury not serious as team believes.
