Manti Te'o In Protective Boot. Not Practicing

Here we go again. Another player on the sideline after there was no reported injuries from the game. This time it is our star rookie LB Manti Te’o that is in a protective boot. He must have got “dinged” in the game and they didn’t think it was anything serious to report:

Nothing serious, yet he is wearing a protective boot? The severity will be determined and we will see if he misses any time in the preseason. There is a lot of expectations from Te’o this season, hopefully it is a minor injury and he is able to get back onto the field quickly and contribute on defense.

They said too that both fullbacks are on sideline getting looked at also not good. Trade Meach for a fullback stat! This sucks!

I think he will be fine, I also think if him or Butler goes down Dj Smith will do a good job filling in, though not as good as the original starters but good none the less

Okay seriously, every single starter needs to sit out the rest of the preseason!!! What the heck is up with all these injuries?!

I hope that he’s not a bust like English, Mouton? Is Te’o is the next English 3.0 ? I hope not!

WTF is going on? Seems every day someone is getting injured in the NFl ( Yeah, almost forgot it is a very physical sport.) But, in Jesus Whitehurt case last Thursday, it was multiple brain farts and, the fact that he sucks ass as a QB. Lets get over the injury shit alrealdy PuhLeeeze…………….

You know what i think, i believe it’s a better safe than sorry attitude with this staff. See i’m used to players being rushed back onto the field, even when it wasn’t necessary. However McCoy seems to have an attitude,”everybody plays”. somebody goes down, next man up. That is what back ups are for?
But i could be wrong. However if your job were on the line in 2012, wouldn’t you want your best players on the field, even at 80%?

  • Adam

Thank God he wasn’t “dinged up” like DX was dinged up

  • Nick in PB

Uh oh… a foot injury! You never know about those things. We’ve seen it too many times in the past. Hopefully, it’s just precautionary!

Bront Bird has got his back if he’s injury riddled this season. Bird is a great tackler and tall. With a blitze up the center Bird can force high throws and turnovers. I’ve got to give it to English, he looked alot better than Jared Johnson.
