Latest Power Rankings

I posted my latest power rankings before the preseason action begins on NFL Spin Zone. Our Chargers are right in the middle of the pack and probably a lot higher than anyone else would ever rank them, but it still is at 18,

I am a homer, but at the same time, I don’t understand how we are in every analyst’s dog house. We got rid of Norv Turner. Isn’t that worth 2 wins right there?

Our offensive line is better… I don’t know how it could be any worse. Our defense seems better, the depth is the question mark. Offensive weapons? Sure seem better than the start of last season.

Apparently our Kansas City friends don’t appreciate that they were ranked 5 spots lower than the Chargers on the rankings. The Chargers are at 18, the Chiefs at 23. They are complaining I am being biased.

Are the Chiefs better than the Chargers? Maybe they finish the season as the 18th ranked team, but that means the Chargers would finish in the top 15.

Our team is better! That is all!

Hopefully the Chargers come out today and light it up and shut some people up.

Correct me if i’m wrong, power rankings are based on last season. Didn’t the chiefs win 2 games? and 4 prior to that? they should be happy they are not LAST. Reid alone seems to have lifted them to 23.

Yet McCoy went to back-to-back playoffs, with three QB’s. Has a QB that hasn’t passed under 3,000 YDs as a starter. oh well, things change….
