Vincent Brown Back at Practice. Danny Woodhead Missing 3rd Straight

Vincent Brown is back on the field, in pads, practicing after working out on the side field to rest a hamstring injury. He is back on the field just in time to possibly see some action against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, if they decide to put him in the game.

The decision to put him in the game has not been made. I would love to see him get out on the field, but there is no need to rush him out there if he is not ready. There is no need to risk an injury for a game that is worthless. Brown’s spot on the roster is secure, so he doesn’t have to bust is hammy to prove himself. Sit him. Wait till the following week.

Danny Woodhead is missing his 3rd straight practice today and might miss the game on Thursday. We  don’t need to see him on the field either. I would love to see him, but I can just wait some time as well.

The Chargers play on Thursday against the Sea-Chickens. If players that have secure roster spots need to take the game off to rest some bumps and bruises, then pull up a chair and watch the game from the sidelines. Or grab some popcorn and kick it in the stands with the rest of us fans.

I don’t care if they feel 100%, I don’t want either of them playing on Thursday. Not worth it to lose VB another year because of another freak accident. Let the youngins get more reps.

completly agree. This is smart, you know who is going to make the roster. You know what they can can do, based on practice. Not much is going to change. rest them, use them in a real game.

I’m hoping that the staff is just overly cautious with their star players, which is a good thing

Definitely rest them.. but, darn it… I wanted to see both of these guys!

We will, when it counts. And you will be glad they did. just like when TT made the offer for DX. ;)

    Glad to see VB back.
