Melvin Ingram Working Out On Side Field During 2nd Day of Training Camp

Melvin Ingram is working out on the side field on the second day of training camp. It is good to see that the kid still is putting in work after tearing up his ACL in mini camps.

Love the attitude that this kid has. Just keep on working to get back onto the field.

Still no idea if Ingram will be able to get back onto the field this season, but he sure seems to be a man on a mission. If/when we are in the middle of our playoff push, he could be a nice boost to the defense.

Keep on working Melvin.

Terrell Suggs tore his ACL May 3rd and came back Oct 21st against the Texans.

Melvin Ingram tore his ACL May 14th and could come back Nov 3rd against the Redskins only missing 7 Games.

With Ingrams hard work and determination.
He could come back just as fast as Terrell Suggs did.

suggs tore his achilles tendon not acl. But I do hope ingram comes back healthy soon.

I think without a doubt Ingram could be back during the season.
It just depends on how were doing though.

      • Daryl Peek

Isn’t an Achilles injury harder to come back from?

        • boltingindiego

to have your same athleticism i think its worse if you tear your achilles then acl.

          • Daryl Peek

Gotta hope Super Melvin has that All Day AP beast in him.

          • boltingindiego

hopefully bro and the rg3 after his 1st acl injury.

        • CALiFORNiAkiD

          Achilles Tendon does take longer.
          About 7 Months (minimum)

ACL is about 6 Months (minimum)

And the hope is back alive!

          • boltingindiego

lol sorry to ruin the hope.

Butler tore his achilles in his rookie year. was gone for the season.

      That would be awesome!

  • Rob Base

Nice! Love that dudes motivation. Hopefully he will be back by November.

  • Adam

This dude rocks. He’s like fluker…awesome attitude and work ethic. I really wish wrinkles would’ve given him more of a chance last year

  • Adam

Remember that shoulder tackle against the raiders in week 17? I think it was on the kick return to…he just hit him with his shoulder and kept on walking

    • Gunnar Martin

That was the sickest hit of the year

      • arnie

we could still see a repeat, this year….

        • Gunnar Martin

Let’s hope. I just don’t want them to rush him back too fast, just in case. Have him play when he is totally 100%.

          • arnie

Agreed. take it slow, Freeney is on the job.

They may not have a choice if Melvin tells em he’s ready.

      • Adam

Dude and that same game weddle had a gnarly hit on this dude catching a little screen pass and injured the dude

  • Gunnar Martin

    Stud

I remember seeing Von Miller on TMZ last week outside a club in LA and Melvin Ingram was with him. I hope they’re not too close friends now that Miller is facing the suspension for rumored marijuana and adderall

    • boltingindiego

they are friends and they train together

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

Right…. I know they are buddies… But he better stay away from the extra curricular

  • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

    He’s the anti-Gaither.

  • Bill Nichols

Love the heart brother, but please, we need you for many years to come. Make sure you are good, don’t be a hero and have a major set back, or worse. And I am sure I don’t need to say this but, do not listen to the little devil talking in your ear to hit the HGH, or some other crap. I know you won’t, but hell, couldn’t say whether or not I would think about it if I was in your shoes. We love the fact that you aren’t just sitting home collecting that check Melvin, and can’t wait to see you back on the field chasing those QB’s. Bolt Up!

    • Antonio Spellman

totally agree. Make sure the healing is done right. 100% is much more beneficial to the team and himself than 80% and making it worse

  • Jose Martinez

Disturbing to learn Ingram and and von Miller are associates. Melvin, just say no to molly.
