Happy Training Camp Day

Happy Training Camp Day!

It all opens up this morning and the public is free to head out there to check out the awesomeness. The gates open in about an hour and the guys will be out on the field around 9ish. I wish I didn’t have to go to work today, because I would be out there with the rest of you all.

It will also be open to the public later in the afternoon. Get out there! If you make it out there, give us all a status report of what is going on.

Radio stations are talking all Chargers football. Football is BACK!!!!

    I was there. first impressions

Lloyd caught EVERYTHING, except 1 ball CBJ threw behind him. DX is the clear #1 WR. VB is a play maker. Malcolm made some amazing catches. Goodman should be good 4 possibly 3. The rookie allen looked well like a rookie. meachum……. looked overpaid.

The offense i did not recognize it, with all the quick slants and 3 WR sets, it was amazing how easily the offense moved the ball. Rivers passing from under center in no huddle, 3 an 5 step drops? WT…? Woodhead, Fozzy, Baker, these guys can ball. mathews fumbled, then picked it up and did not do so the rest of the practice. Gronkowski, do not sleep on 44 he could take Brown or McClain’s spot. Gates looked like the “HEALTHY” 8 time pro-bowler that he is. it was also good to see him going through “blocking drills”, and doing it well.

King Dunlap, STUFFED EVERYONE, including Freeney. Clary was impressive. Fluker was a monster, and let Freeney know it as well, by putting him on the ground. the O-line, MUCH improved.

Te’o, was focused an always where the play was. he covered, and clogged up holes in the run. 4.89 my foot, he can play. Butler, yeah the Butler did it all day. Freeney didn’t look he’s been playing for 12 seasons, i guess he’s going to get re-acquainted with an old friend in denver. Wright, that side of the field is covered. he proved it by making WR drop balls including Floyd. Adde? Taylor had better make a quick recovery, for a rookie Addae didn’t give Weddle to do much to do. Thomas, Reyes, Liuget, i wouldn’t worry about those positions anymore. Jerideau? Geathers? i wouldn’t worry about depth either. those kids are MASSIVE and forced CBJ to run for his life a few times.

    well.. that’s all i can think of…

Correction; Woodhead, Fozzy and “HILL” can ball. Baker looked okay, got my number mixed up. they don’t have the names on the back of jerseys anymore. so the handed out the roster sheet.
