Brandon Flowers Thinks Chiefs Can Have The Best Secondary In The League

Kansas City Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers thinks that his defense could have one of the best secondaries in the NFL. They do have a lot of talent on the roster. They brought over Sean Smith from the Miami Dolphons and Dunta Robinson as another defensive back that can cover. They will be a tough team to throw the football against, but I am sure that Ken Whisenhunt has a plan on attacking them.

Philip Rivers and Antonio Gates were able to make some big connections against their defense last year and I expect the offense to exploit that mismatch more this season. Eric Berry was abused by Gates and the Chargers last year.

If Philip Rivers can get right, then it doesn’t matter who is standing on the other side. I know that Philip has the competitive spirit to step up to the challenge and he is not afraid to throw the football against anyone. Remember when he used to tear Nnamdi up every year? Philip just needs to get right.

Remember how quickly we found out Nnamdi was overrated when he switched coasts?

  • Angel

Rivers best game in my eyes was against the Ravens, the 2011 season in Dec. Ravens could NOT STOP The offense. They got destroyed.
Chiefs possibly having the best secondary?? Yeh right hahah. Most Kansas Shitty Queefs fans hate Flowers anyways…

  • A-A-Ron

Fucking fair weather Chargers fans are douche bags. Good luck fighting the bottom with the Chokeland Faiders. The Chiefs are gonna fuck y’all up twice this year.

    • Ernie Padaon

ha. weren’t you guys at the very bottom last year? We can just go by that right there. scoreboard

      • Chuck the Fargers

Yea…last year. We aren’t talking last year. We are talking this year with a revitalized organization from the top down. The draft and free agency did wonders for the Chiefs. And the Chargers sat on the sidelines like the Raiders and didn’t do shit. Just like they’ll both do this upcoming season.

        • davacho

LMAO! raiders fans talk about what they did 20-30 years ago and chiefs fans talk about what they’re going to do each season… too good.

        • Pels04

Chargers didnt do shit this off season? Stop talking out of your ass, it stinks

        • Adam

Obviously you have zero football IQ, so it is pointless to try to reason with a mindless simpleton like you. Btw…good luck with Alex smith!

        • FitzWilly

          you’re funny mister, for a Fuck-Tard

        • Peter Thompson

Let’s see…. The Kansas City Chiefs 2012 season, in a nutshell:
          - Were predicted to challenge the Broncos to win the division ???
          - Had a historic six players selected to the pro-bowl
          - Got swept & annihilated by the Chargers twice.
          - Got swept by Denver, AND the friggin’ Raiders (one game was a shut-out)
          - still finished 2-14
          - still picked first in the draft

That’s worse than when the Faders swept the division, and still didn’t make the playoffs!!! Yet still.. here you are… talking smack.. as if you are the Ravens or Niners? You should jump for joy if you even manage to beat the Jags this year! Bwahahaha!

        • Rob Base

All right buddy you have a point. SYKE! Go Fuck yourself! Tired of these douchebaggs coming on here and talking shit! Damn goat roping inbred!

    • Adam

The chiefs are all going to collectively bend over, spread their cheeks apart, and pray that the 60 minutes of pain and torture mercifully ends. Nuff said

    • Blue&gold_blood

Lmao, so Alex smith has you fags thinking like that already huh.
Nothing wrong with having your hopes up. I’ll come back during the season here and burst your bubble after we beat you queers.

    • FitzWilly

Y’all can go fuck yourself HillBilly Cousin Fucker

    • Peter Thompson

Lucky for the Chiefs players that the seats at Arrowhead are red. That way, they won’t be able to tell that all the fans went home in the 3rd quarter, when they are getting brutalized by the Chargers!

    • Rob Base

Hey AA Ron stick to your 12 step program jackass!

    • FitzWilly

Does your Mommy know you’re using her computer

    • RussinSactown

Yawn. Love the enthusiasm A-A-Ron, but face reality. The Chargers lit up your secondary with two real targets and no offensive line in front of Rivers. The line has improved and there are weapons all over the roster.

  • Chris

As a Chiefs fan, I, along with most all Chiefs fans realize what we’re up against. On paper, our secondary looks mighty fine, yet, it doesn’t do diddly unless it translates to wins. I (being rational) am just hoping for a playoff win from this team at some point, for starters. With the changing of the whole franchise, we do have a lot of high hopes, but I’m certainly not talking about stomping anyone…hopefully, yet. HOWEVER, as Bolts fans, you guys sure like to talk up Rivers as if he’s won you a Super Bowl. I’ll be the first to admit, he’s good, but he probably should lay off the blame game and quit whining every time a play doesn’t go in his favor. Either way, I just hope to God the series is competitive this year. GO CHIEFS!

    • arnie

Hey we talk up Rivers, because he’s “THAT GOOD”. As far as blame games? The only thing he blames himself for, is going to management, to bring norv back for the 2012 season.

    • Ernie Padaon

that was definitely reasonable. I would never play Rivers up to be a Super Bowl champ until he gets one. He definitely has to step his game up this year.

  • arnie

Yeah. Well like they say, talk is cheap. brandon was on a team that finished 2-14,(hint; brandon was part of the problem) and he believes brining in two guys that couldn’t stop anything on there former teams is an improvement?

The Chargers went and grabbed the Coach that “TORCHED” the chef’s secondary and added the OC that coached big ben to a championship an resurrected the career of Kurt Warner.

Speaking of D-fences, the Chargers D was ranked 8th in the league. With CB that couldn’t cover and pass rushers the didn’t rush to well. Alex smith is an upgrade to get them “4″ wins.

    Bolts 4 Life!

  • Ernie Padaon

want to know which fans are more respectful? Just look at the Raiders post and this post. DANG.

  • RepOurChiefs

As a respectable Chiefs fan im not here to trash talk cause lord knows a 2-14 season is nothing to brag about. As far as im concerned,i will take anything over last season train wreck. This season is all about positive reinforcement and im pumped to see these two teams clash on an even playing field. The fun!! I mean thats what its all about right? So see you guys soon and good luck.Heres to having fun. Go CHiefs!

    • Ernie Padaon

That was respectable. It’s going to be a war
