Manti Te'o asked if any of his teammates have given him a ribbing yet

San Diego Chargers linebacker Manti Te’o was asked if he had guys on the team giving him crap for his whole ‘catfish’ incident. Here was his response:

“No, lucky for me I’m surrounded by guys in San Diego who really care about football and really care about winning, and they really care about people,” said Te’o, who’s in Aurora, Ohio, for this week’s NFL Rookie Symposium. “And for me as a rookie, I just keep my head down and keep working and keep my head in the playbook, so I don’t give them a reason to yell at me or give them a reason to not like me.

“For me, I’m just keeping my head down, do my responsibilities and make sure that I’m working to be the best linebacker I can be.” –

I am pretty sure he has gotten more crap from fans and media than his teammates on the roster. I am sure someone will give him a little crap soon though, it is just the elephant in the room,

I am just happy that all the talk about it is starting to dwindle down. We don’t need to hear about that. Sadly, the offseason is too long and someone had to bring it back up all over again.

Let’s hope the next story written on Manti’ is about the massive hit he puts on someone trying to come across the middle, or how about a pick 6… Leave the man alone already, quit trolling around for some bullshit story that is beaten and tired. Bolt Up!!

He’s going to make every team that passed on him pay .

Think Big – Be Big Te’o ! Go get that D rookie of the year !

How many times has he been asked this question now? Why does the media seem hell bent on asking for updates on stupid shit from Te’o now? It’s as if they want to start avoiding the fake girlfriend question directly and replace them with indirect and redundant questions.

At a certain point, it becomes a non-issue. I tell you, when he lights Welker up coming across the middle or mauls Michael Vick (September 15th is coming up fast) this becomes a distant memory if it hasn’t already.

The chargers are being smart and the players are buying into it. They all see the distractions certain players bring with them and do not want that to happen with teo. He might be a good player and doesn’t need to be a circus show to stay relevant.

So glad he is getting support in San Diego!! Even if he gets teased, it’s none of the interviewers business any way. So what is he supposed to say?? yes I get teased all the time. Dumb questions about an OLD non story!!

I loved his Charger necklace on the NFL Total Access interview. Showing the SD love!!! Was that a Hawaiian shell necklace? I WANT ONE!!! Good to see him and Tourek hanging at the symposium, as well. Solidarity baby!

When you have a rookie that’s working that hard, it rubs off on others. I think these guys are ready to prove something. Most experts are picking us under 500. I like being the new kids on the block and under the radar!

Did you see when he was like, “let’s go inside” to Tourek? Raiders were right behind em’…keeping that nose down.. I like it.

I didn’t give a damn about the “story” when it broke, and all these months later I care even less. A Kid in collage got scammed, Oh yeah, earth shattering breaking news. Ridiculous! The face that “journalist” continue to beat this dead horse, shows the sad state of their profession. Anyone who is still asking questions about his should put their big kids pants on, do some real work and find a real story to cover… SMDH…# GoBolts!!.
