Just Because You All Want To Talk About It. Open Thread on Aaron Hernandez

Some of you all want to speak on the issue and a couple of you have made the visit over to NFL Spin Zone, but I figured we can have a central location for all the chatter here for the Bolts fans. We all love football and know what is going on out there. We all want to speak about football and this story is huge right now.

The story is crazy. I have been following and every new piece of info that gets leaked adds more drama to the situation. It all started with a murder that somone did. It just seemed like it was near Hernandez’s house. Then we learned that Hernandez shot a man in the face a while back.

Authorities were taking things from his house and he was reportedly going to get arrested. We were on white SUV watch. He destroyed all his security camera stuff, his cell phone and hired cleaners for the house. And more and more.

Things are getting a little sketchy. Here is the Chargers fans spot to talk about the situation. So, did he do it? If he didn’t it sure seems like he was there and he probably knows who did it.

If you are not guilty you do not act guilty. Such a waste.

yea. he is doing a bunch of stupid things. not looking good for him

“He’s not a suspect but a car rented in his name could be key evidence.” Why I don’t rent cars for people.

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

why would he rent a car in his own hood?

      • http://boltbeat.com/ ChargerGirl Cindi

Exactly. Why would he rent a car at all? He probably has half a dozen.

        • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

why the heck is he breaking security stuff and his phone. doesnt seem right! some major fishiness

          • tubbs45

I’ve rented a car in my own area when mine was not working, and also for my brother when he came to visit, so he had something to drive around in. Also rented a car in my own area when we were all driving up to northern CA and didn’t want to push it on our family car.

So…are we gonna get something like this every 19 years during the NBA Finals from now on?

By “like this”, I mean a football player connected to a murder riding around in a white SUV being chased by helicopters.

    • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

I was thinking the same thing about the white SUV. A nice Burgundy color would have been nice.

  • Cgoodness13

He apparently rented a Chevy…which is a shame because I thought a real patriot would rent a dodge *da dun dun tsk*
    #lame joke of the day

No – the COW is normally BS. The best comments normally don’t make it. If you ever say anything clever Adam-you may realize your dream though.

Haha. This is a true story

by the way things are playing out, the cops dont have enough to charge him or they would have, they think he did it or knows who did and are using the press to pressure him to cooperate. My guess going off his previous history he’s been aquainted with the law so their police tricks aint workin, he knows more than he’s telling and isnt a snitch. so this will eventually die down when the police give up or find another lead/clue. but now he has to kobe (play his way out) this distraction to stay with the pats. U cant be average on the field and live off of it.

    • Alter Ego

      Its the Patriot way…you don’t say nothing…you don’t show nothing…you don’t admit to nothin.

      • Derek

that must be part of the reason ben jarvis green ellis was called the law firm.

  • Gunnar Martin

This is really too bad. I sorta feel bad for him. At least this seems like the offseason of the Patriots’ downfall (slightly).

  • Alter Ego

Hernandez to Pats – I may be tardy for training camp

  • PakMaN

Whatever he is (guilty/innocent), you can tell this was not planned. Literally every single piece of evidence points at him. He even posted “good morning :)” on twitter the following morning after all this supposedly went down.

  • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

He won’t get convicted. I am pretty sure he did it, or is involved. He was hanging out with gang-bangers when he played in Florida. For whatever reason, you and I would already be in cuffs, and in a jumpsuit… But, famous people with money walk. Perfect example, Lindsey Lohan. She must be on her 40th strike by now… Still no meaningful punishment.

    • tubbs45

Well he might get by the law, but not Goodell

      • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

I don’t care what decisions Goodell makes anymore. Remember when Ed Reed’s “dirty hit” suspension was mysteriously waived right before we played the Ravens? Or, when Sean Payton was supposed to be barred from contact with his team, but was suddenly allowed to have his own skybox at the Saints vs Chargers game, after not being allowed all year… Inspiring them when they were down and out? Then that horrible Ingram call on the INT? Whatever his decision is with Hernandez, I’m sure he will fold when it involves screwing us over the most… Lol. His “hard attitude” never seems to be around when it could benefit the Bolts in any capacity, so I couldn’t care less what he does, personally. Watch… We will make the playoffs, and face the Pats, and his suspension will be up that day… Hahaha!

        • I_Bleed_Powder_Blue_801

Great points!! Isn’t it about time for a new commish….I can’t stand Goodel either…. I am all for player safety, but this guy is single handedly wussyfying football…

        • tubbs45

PT, how do you really feel? Lol, I do agree, he is shady as Hernandez!

          • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

Hahahaha… sorry.. got a little carried away there. Just tired of the “good ole’ boy network” that is sometimes the NFL. At times, certain punishments & circumstances seem to be manipulated to suit the whims of the commissioner, “popular” teams, or the NFLPA.

  • Alter Ego

Hernandez to Bilichick – I destroyed the tapes coach.

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

      That’s a good one!

    • tubbs45

      Hahahahahaha

  • tubbs45

Dumbass… He had so many scouts throw up red flags pre-draft…

im still going with innocent till proven guilty, even if you are innocent its not a good look to be the last person seen with a murder victim. then add the troubled past. id be burning and bleaching everything too. im sure BRIAN BANKS was the last man seen with that rape victim.

  • Stefanie Smith

KGTV San Diego is reporting this morning that the police out there issued a warrant for Hernandez’s arrest – to question him. Yes, they will get an arrest warrant so that they can question somebody in an investigation when that person will not speak with them.

If he did do it… the new defense is ‘roid rage. You will see this happening more and more.

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

that defense still should put a fool in jail.

  • http://boltbeat.com/ ChargerGirl Cindi

Well, there is an arrest warrant out for his nice tight end (pun intended). From a completely football related perspective, the Pats are not going to recover from losing Welker and now this. I predict no playoffs.

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

and gronk just had back surgery. so they really have nobody to throw to at this point. danny amendola

  • Stefanie Smith

Now NFL.com has a short article that is stating the clerk is saying there was no arrest warrant issued on Hernandez. I should have known better that Channel 10 here would get it hosed up.

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

dang. that was on ESPN that said that an arrest warrant was issued too
