The Media Got Their Shot At Manti Te’o Today

May 13, 2013; San Diego, CA, USA; San Diego Chargers linebacker Manti Te

Manti Te’o stepped in front of the media today after given a brief hiatus and was impressive. The national media was out in full force trying to get the low down on their new public figure.

He stepped in front of the podium and composed himself well. He looks like he is getting more and more comfortable with the spotlight and is answering all questions the right way.

I have a feeling that all this attention will blow over real soon. How many questions can you really ask about a fake girlfriend?

As each day goes by, the media is starting to ask more and more football questions. They don’t care too much about that. They want the drama. They want the inside scoop. If they have to talk about football, they will quickly move on.

The story is done and over.

He was outstanding in his interviews. I’m a Te’o Fan ! I hope he goes all Polynesian Tribal Warrior on everyone’s ass this year on his way to Defensive Rookie of the Year. I will be happy to be his girlfriend then.
