Dwight Freeney in Attendance for Chargers OTAs

Dwight Freeney has shown up to San Diego Chargers OTA’s today and will practice with the team for the first time. Good to see the vet get into camp and start working his way into the system.

He will get to meet his new teammates and find his role on the defense. He will be doing the same thing he has been doing for years… getting after the quarterback.

This time around, Philip Rivers will be wearing the red jersey and will have the 5 yard bubble. I am sure that Max Starks and Freeney will match up a few times in camp. Freeney will likely also go against DJ Fluker a few times also. How will Fluker like dealing with Freeney’s speed off the edge.

Happy to have Freeney in camp and ready to get after it.

I’m hoping to hear nothing but good news from Freeney’s activity up until pre-season starts. I want so badly for our pass rush to be better than years past. Cross your fingers, and NO INJURIES, PLEASE?!!!!

I hope he puts in work and doesn’t get hurt!

Cant wait to see him attacking the QBs

That’s FANTASTIC NEWS!!!!! Many former all-pro veterans who believe owner collusion kept their salary down would have skipped ‘voluntary’ OTA’s. Just stay healthy!!! Now I’m REALLY excited! GO CHARGERS!!!!!

Glad to see him out, I’m also glad to see he’s a family man and family comes first

I love how he’s taking #95. Shaun Phillips can’t talk shit and say he’s being replaced with a nobody.
