Philip Rivers Likely Keeping the Gloves On

Philip Rivers says that there is a good chance that he will be wearing the gloves this season. At least until he starts throwing 4 interceptions a game again.

Why not ride it out? He was making big things happen with the gloves on last season. Might as well ride it out more and see if it is the gloves that have the magic.

Kurt Warner used to wear the gloves and made it work well.

He wore the gloves 3 times last season and won all 3 games. Ride the wave.

All the stats don’t take into account that Philip Rivers has always been a slow starter and finishes the year strong. What other reason did Norv have awesome records later in the year? OH… maybe because he finally opened up the playbook when the team was trying to scratch their way back into the playoffs.

Gloves on? Think it makes him any better?
