Tyronne Green Lasts Less Than 3 Weeks With The Patriots

Tyronne Green had a job with the Patriots for just a couple of weeks and that is all it took for them to realize that he is not going to cut it. They released him off of the roster today.

That was our starting left guard! Thanks AJ and Norv for believing in Tyronne Green all season. 2 1/2 weeks! CUT!

Whoever is the starting left guard for the Chargers SHOULD be much better than what we had there last season.

AND we wonder why Mike Harris struggled all of last season. Mike Harris may have been out of his league, but it sure didn’t help having Green next to him.

Chad Rinehart…. you are the next man up. Get this thing rolling in the right direction. It still could be Johnnie Troutman as well.

I am sure that Philip Rivers is happy that there is a whole new look in front of him on the offensive line.

So Patriot management looked at Green and said “I wouldn’t trust him to protect my franchise player” and TT let him walk. Mind you AJ would have likely thrown him another three years and six million. That tells me maybe TT knows a little bit about this GM buisness.

    • Peter Thompson

I want to thank Patriot management for taking Greene to the opposite side of the country from San Diego for two weeks. Not that TT would have signed him…. but out of sight, out of mind. You can never be too careful.

  • NWBolt

I’m sure the Donkeys will sign him.

    • Peter Thompson

The word on the street is that Greene rolled into practice holding a bucket of KFC, and a 68oz Wild Cherry Slurpee. They told him to jog a couple of laps around the building, and when he came around on his second lap, Tom Brady was standing next to a taxi in full uniform, holding the door open… with cab fare held out. Eye witnesses reported that Brady said “Just drive away… anywhere” to the cabbie.

“Walk into the club like what up I got a blood clot” lol don’t know if that’s a fat joke but it works

    • MC Boltman

hahaha…thats some funny stuff right here..but hey, it could´ve happened, we know Brady is very polite :)

      • Peter Thompson

You said it MC… He is very polite. Just ask Bridget Moynahan. He was extremely polite to her when he knocked her up, dumped her, and then got with a supermodel two seconds later. He even agreed to be a part of the babies life, instead of ignoring them! Such a class act ; )
