Diary of a Charger Interviewer: Pt 1

I’ll make ya famous ; )

I have always been fascinated with doing interviews with Charger fans. Especially off of the street, and at games, etc. I have done a ton of them, but lost them all when my computer crashed, but I decided to start youtubing them, from now on.

I was at Parkway Billiards in El Cajon a couple of weekends ago, and was talking Chargers with this dude who spotted my Bolts on my sweater & hat. We got to talking, and I of course mentioned that I blog for Boltbeat.com. I’m not sure if he believed me at first, so I told him we could go outside, and conduct an interview, if he was game. Marquise Tatum was all about it! Of course, I had been drinking pitchers, and playing pool ALL night with a close friend of the family, so it isn’t the smoothest work I have done. But, I promised Marquise I would post it, and told him I would let him know when I did it. I figured I would post it late at night, as I got a little bit loose with the language, when talking about Meachem & Royal. I also pointed out Tourek Williams as a 5th round draft pick (who was a 6th), and then later on, pointed out Stevie Williams as a 5th round pick, as well. I get this funny little laugh when I drink 20 pitchers too, but I think.. despite the volume of my voice… Marquise & I kept it interesting. He clearly knows his football, and it was a pleasure to interview him. If you guys like it, I will keep this going, as I make my travels trhough the Charger Nation, and come across the everyday fan. So, cheers to Marquise Tatum, and I hope he becomes a fan of the site, as he seems to know his stuff.

Enjoy, and keep on bolting towards (sometimes randomly drunken) excellence!
