New Power Rankings: Chargers at 22

The latest power rankings from NFL.com was released a couple of days ago and the Chargers have now moved up to number 22. They were last ranked at 23 before the draft. At least it looks like we are headed in the right direction at least.

The season is not even close, but the roster is almost complete. We might add a few veteran signings onto the roster, but that will not get us anywhere near the top of this list. The expectations around the league are low.

Remember when we used to start the season as favorites to win the Super Bowl? I miss those days. Time to build up that roster all over again! This draft from Tom Telesco is a step in the right direction.

We have some work to do and we need to gain that respect all over again. We have a franchise quarterback and I believe he will get his stuff straight and we will be competing for a playoff spot. We will be there to the end. We have to make that climb. Fight from the bottom like underdogs and make a rise to the top.

Thomas thank you for being a brave soul and sharing. I say 10-6. i’d like you and i to come back here and compare those numbers, at the end of the 2013 season.

I rather have low expectations than have high ones but never win the Super Bowl.

      Absolute opposite for me!

Just tired of being disappointed and having the back of a team that tries less than I cared.

I will always maintain high expectations for the Bolts! That’s just who I am!

  • Cgoodness13

We are ranked so low because we fired norv and the nfl is butt hurt over it.

    • arnie

      so is BFTB…

      • Cgoodness13

Hahahaha that site is full of cry babies

        • arnie

LOL i don’t know about that. but they were pumping the “norv is a good coach” and “aj has done a good job”, speak really hard. my only problem with them was they used numbers to back up those points, and ignored the truth in front of ours eyes.
At the very least, i can admit when i’m wrong.

Te’o won’t make the leap in to the nfl the kids too slow and too short to hang with big backs. That’s why the bolts are low.

    • Pels04

Youre right its all Te’o’s fault………smh……. Makes perfect sense because a teams success rests solely on a middle linebacker

      • Cgoodness13

Just like its rivers fault for not being able to break away from all those defenders in the backfield!!!! Lol Jk

i love power rankings for two reasons. they are great at starting conversations and getting fans fired up over there teams. the second, they are completely useless stat. the only power ranking that matters, is the one that hoists the Lombardi trophy.

  • KustomCartoon

That seems right, they could even be lower in my books.

    22 is my lucky number!
