Nate Kaeding Calls it a Career

Nate Kaeding signed a 1-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this offseason, but he will not be reporting to camp with them and instead will be calling it quits. Kaeding sustained a groin injury and is retiring.

Kaeding is the Chargers all time accurate kicker, but was not accurate when we needed him to be. He will never get another chance to redeem himself in the playoffs after shanking kicks left and right.

Nate retires as the second most accurate kicker in NFL history.

Man… it’s rough watching guys like this retire. It wasn’t that long ago that he was a part of a dominating Charger team. It kinda makes me feel old, and a little bit sad. So many “what if’s” to look back on. Cheers Nate. Here’s to TT bringing us back to the good old days ; )
