Shaun Phillips Is On "The Good Side Now"

I am so happy that Shaun Phillips was able to skip out of town and keep things classy. He joined the Denver Broncos and said that he is on “the good side now.” (ESPN)

THE GOOD SIDE NOW?!?!?!

SONUVA…..

Apparently the Donkeys are the good side now. Thanks Shaun for being you and making sure there is always trash talk where you go.

I hope DJ Fluker or whoever is on the left side of the line will stonewall Phillips all day long when we go up against him. I don’t want to see that dang bowling celebration any more.

I always thaught that bowling celebration was a little lame

  • http://twitter.com/Bolts_NFL_Music MC Boltman

Yeah, what a fucked up phrase…jerk! According to that espn article they pay him $1 million this year! $1 million! Although his “prime might be over” I definitely think he´s worth that money. Whatever – screw you trash talking donkey…

    • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

Damn, he was team leader in sacks and 1 Million! Haha

  • tubbs45

Well, damn it. hate to see good numbers walk for next to nothing. but he is and has always been a whiney bitch and a bad bowler…

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/James-P-Derrick/1654577989 James P Derrick

Ditto, plus hopefully he’s the last of the party group (ChampagneBottle Throwing Group)….would love to see these guys commit to the team and season….

    • jonpviv

2 double digit sack years in 9 years – less than an average of 8 sacks a year over a 9 year period – how do you figure these are good numbers? His stats are proof he is (was) WAY overrated, and todays tweet proves he was a cancer in the locker room. Good luck Denver…..

      • tubbs45

Overrated, yes. Cancer, maybe. Dumb ass, yes. Totally weak-ass celebration, strike. Chargers sack leader last year with 9.5 sacks… Yes… Only paying 1.25 mil for that depth, I still would have said yes…

        • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

          Right there with you

  • http://twitter.com/BReisinger86 Brandon Reisinger

    Wow! I got no words

  • http://twitter.com/PowderBlue619 Saul Lopez

    what an ass!!

  • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

Man, gonna have to pay a backup guy to to punch him in the nuts and get a unsportsman like conduct for that one.

  • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

Bryant Mckinnie’s meeting with the Fins right now…..Boooooo!!!!

    • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

If the Fins get him are we the only team without a LT now? I heard the Jags last LT is really good maybe swing a trade for a WR or future pick?

Would KC trade us Albert or were they just messing with the entire league until Fisher came out and said “Id have no problem playing RT”?

    • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

Not what we want to hear, is it?

    • tubbs45

Fire up the damn plane spanos!!!

  • RussinSactown

Fluker, run his ass over next year! Show him what it’s like to be on our bad side.

  • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

I kinda chuckled when I read this yesterday… Not that I like the statement WHATSOEVER… but, what’s he supposed to say.. I’m joining the dark side? Maybe just say nothing at all, because this isn’t Star Wars, Shaun. He is probably just insulted that TT wouldn’t pay him anything… even as low as a million dollars.

On another note… What happened to Freeney, Denver? Lol…

    • http://www.facebook.com/lostkiara Stefanie Smith

Seriously. What is he supposed to say? “This is the worse day of my life landing on the wrong side”? No. And yeah, I agree, TT would come up with nothing. This is where I get all pissy. I don’t like how far he goes with this stuff. Not all of our team was crap when he rode into town.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/James-P-Derrick/1654577989 James P Derrick

Hmmmn, how about, “Glad to be a new addition to this Broncos organization”??? Karma will works it’s way around…

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

well… he can say he is happy to join the broncos… but why does he have to call them the good side?

      • http://www.BoltBeat.com/ Peter Thompson

This isn’t over yet, Phillips. You should never have underestimated the dark side.

        • tubbs45

Muuuhhahahaha! I feel hot air is full on this douche!

  • Pels04

Thats a direct slap in the face of the Chargers organization and us the fans. What a prick

  • joerockt

I’m not surprised, SP was a douche bag through and through.

    • http://boltbeat.com/ Ernie Padaon

he always knew how to talk crap… now he is someone elses crap talker!

    • http://www.facebook.com/lostkiara Stefanie Smith

But in fairness, we have a load of crap talkers including my all-time favorite, Phillip Rivers.

      • veazy

Yeah, but Rivers isn’t a douche.

  • Rob Base

When SP tries to get after Rivers Fluker will knock him on his lame Bowl celebrating ass!

  • http://www.facebook.com/william.ednavicari Will Rohling Edna Vicari

sean phillips will be the next athelte to come out of the closet!! the bowling celebration should have been the clue! lol but anyways he has had injury problems, not the smartest cookie either..he prob could have gotten a little more money from someone had he waited…he never had that team leader persona just likes to run his mouth!!

  • JoseSD

They all talk shit when they leave Cromartie, Sproles just add Shaun Philips to that list

    • LighntingThug

i think ur wrong about sproles. first of all the dude never talks secondly if anyone should have complained it should have been sproles. he has more intregritity than chromate and sp combined. I still love me some Lighting Bug he’s got more heart than just about anyone on our roster

      • JoseSD

Sproles almost never talked to media because he has a stuttering problem but when he signed with the Saints the team held a mini camp in San Francisco for some reason and he was interviewed by Heath Evans for NFL Network and he said the Saints”work a little harder” and the only thing he misses about San Diego is the weather. Not exactly running his mouth but it sure wasn’t the typical PC answers most athletes give

  • tubbs45

PS, PS95 learn to spell while in class on the ‘good side’. Spelling classes may help you the learn the difference between class and ASS!

  • http://www.facebook.com/linda.cave.75 Linda Cave

I’m so glad we are rid of such a classless whiny baby. He’s the donkeys problem now and should fit in well there. I hope we crush him like a bug when we play against him. We don’t need that kind of negativity amongst us. Chargers fan for life!!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/diego.alarcon.796569 Diego Alarcon

    I’m not worried about it.

    -D.J Fluker

  • Boltzfan

He must have forgotten that AJ and Norv are gone…what a tool. Yes, bowling sack thing was weak and feminine.

  • tubbs45

Contract for Shaun Phillips, speaks volumes: No guaranteed money, no signing bonus, incentives tied to sacks.

  • scotchyscotchscotch

relax Bolts fans, Eddie Royal said the same thing when he defected in reverse and Broncos fans overreacted to that, too. They have to say that stuff.
