Dan DePalma: Destined to be Chargers Fans New Bromance

San Diego Chargers fans have this affinity for little, white receivers in the pre-season. It has a little to do with the fact that we let go of Wes Welker and he turned into a stud. Everyone loves an underdog.

In comes WR Dan DePalma and he is destined to be the next fan favorite of the preseason. Bryan Walters was our bromance a couple of seasons ago and I have a feeling that DePalma will be the new dude looking to steal our hearts.

There is already stories circulating around Chargers fans on how DePalma was the best receiver with the Super Bowl winning New York Giants. The best receiver… yet he was never on the active roster. He still has never been on an active roster.

I hear he does a great impression of Wes Welker in practice. He can mimic Julian Edelman pretty well. Can he do it well enough to steal a roster spot away from Richard Goodman or Eddie Royal?

He also plays a some corner during practice. It might be an easier task for him to make the roster on that side of the football.

He works hard. He will be playing against 2nd and 3rd stringers and I am sure he will make some things happen.

Destined to be our new bromance.

Ernie, I told you man were looking to go the way of the Hoody. I call it “Game of white shadows” were you line little white guys up all over the place and go 5-8 yards on every pass. Then if one of them goes down “No problemo” you have 2 more of the same guy on your bench.
