Morning Dump: San Diego Chargers News Around the Web

Back on that Monday grind again. Back to that 9-5 again. Back on those Padres being really bad again. Back to longing for Chargers football again.

Dump time…

U-T San Diego
To be honest, taking the Padres to have a better win percentage than the Chargers this year has much more to do with a lack of faith in the Chargers than a belief that the Padres will be real good. I don’t think the Padres are going to be terrible

U-T San Diego
But I hear I caused something of a stir back here when I didn’t pull punches on the NFL Network, saying the new Chargers regime’s unwillingness to restructure the quarterback’s contract to create cap space is a sign of their unwillingness to commit to

    Wow… what a depressing Monday read… yikes.
The Rivers UT story has one comment @ 1pm… crickets!

I posted something there, i don’t know what going on but can share this…

      i responded this……be right back.

        My response to Acee…..
“Nice clean up Acee. Rivers is their man. This is about cap room for other players in 2014 an beyond. if you don’t see that, I pity you. Let me be clear, he needs more help around him. Like the same help he had, before aj ran them off, and norv did not develop. This is the same PR that had a 108 passer rating and only sacked 22 times the three seasons he went to the playoffs. Over the last three seasons, he’s been sacked an average of 40 times. I wonder why?

In 2009, Kyle Orton had a career year under McCoy, posting career highs in virtually every passing category. The following year, the broncos passing attack ranked seventh in the NFL, and Orton ranked “fourth” in the league in passing yards per game. KYLE ORTON! McCoy revamped the broncos offense in 2011 to accommodate Tim Tebow’s skill-set, and they led the NFL in rushing. Really? TIM TEBOW! Need we go into what he did for Manning?

The broncos QB’s flourished, because they had help around them. a lot. Telesco, again, needs the cap space to give Rivers that help.”

          Hahahaha! Nice, Arnie!

I love that Acee (who used to get tons of comments) had only one hit on this story by noon.. and it’s a Monday!!! Nothing… even after trying to write about something that is usually contreversial, and talked about until your head explodes (like his comments on the NFL Network, and Rivers restructuring). It seems that a lot of people are sniffing the stench of death, since he isn’t AJ’s.. what did you call it?… Chap-Stick boy? LMAO! All those endless articles defending Norv & AJ sandbagged his career, in my opinion.

it is so crazy how little love they get over there now!!! It is ridiculous how bad he tried to write something that should get people fired up, GOT NOTHING. he seems so pissed in everything he says these days too. He is hating on the Padres and the Chargers a ton. dont know what he is going to do.

          • arnie

If i had to guess Ernie, i’d say they really changed everything. Including media access. if you noticed, most of the media of coaches and players, are coming from in house.

          • arnie

Hey maybe he’s upset, because he “allegedly” had access to the building and Telesco boarded up Acee’s private entrance?.

          • Peter Thompson

Did they take the federally mandaited “C” rating out of his office window, too?

          • arnie

LMAO. it’s probably where the Whiz is sitting now. LOL.
