Danny Woodhead's Contract Details w/ Chargers

So here are the contract details for the San Diego Chargers newest runningback:

Overall terms: 2 years, $3.5 million ($1 million guaranteed)
Signing bonus: $1 million
2013 base salary: $750,000 (non-guarnateed)
2014 base salary: $1.75 million (non-guaranteed)

Tell me why the New England Patriots didn’t re-sign him again? The answer definitely wasn’t the money! I know his numbers dropped a bit, but it wasn’t too bad. He’s only 28 years old. Maybe he doesn’t run the 40 at 4.33-seconds anymore, but dang!

Anybody else want to come to San Diego with that bargain basement deal? Eric Winston? Brandon Moore? Max Starks? Just come down this way! I am sure we will find a way to get you involved!

I just became an even bigger fan of Danny Woodhead. Is it wrong that Danny Woodhead is already one of my favorite players and he hasn’t done a thing yet?
