Morning Dump: San Diego Chargers News Around the Web

I don’t know why, but Brandon Lloyd to the Bolts seems to make a lot of sense to me. We need weapons and the new coach has a familiarity with Lloyd while he has never had to use any of the guys on the current roster. Lloyd was a 1000+ yard receiver for him and his quarterback was Kyle Orton then. Just seems to be a good move. Let’s see if we attempt to make it happen.

FOR BOLTS’ CLEANUP GUY TELESCO, SO FAR SO GOOD U-T San Diego

Ernie it’s awfully quiet. I wonder who else they will bring in?

It is pretty quiet… Usually runs like this though. Big names will get signed real quick and then the market dies a bit. Teams then try to bargain. We still have too many holes to sit still. Bet there are things in the works

Don’t we only have 3 guards under contract? Think we might have to sign more. Troutman and Rinehart should do good for starters, so we need some more for depth

Molk and Dunlap can play guard. Still think we should bring in another. Could be through the draft

Lloyd seems like he’d be a good pickup, but rumblings say that he has a bit of a diva attitude. I wouldn’t mind getting him, if McCoy and Philip could keep him in line.

Heard the same about him being high-maintenance. If too much for Patriots locker room, don’t want him close to impressionable, getting-younger Chargers locker room (especially if Gaither is there).
