Antonio Garay Heads to the New York Jets

It looks like Chargers players are heading back to their home towns today. Antoine Cason going back to Arizona and now Antonio Garay is signing up with the New York Jets. Maybe Quentin Jammer will sign with the Dallas Cowboys next or the Houston Texans.

Garay and his silliness will be headed out to New York and will compete for some playing time under Rex Ryan.  I wonder if Garay can play a little quarterback? He could definitely compete for the starting job out there.

Garay and the Hello Kitty car are headed out to New York. He was a fan favorite and a favorite in the locker room. Good luck to Antonio.

Looks like Barnes was there too today but didn’t sign.

I hope Barnes comes back, character guy, hard workers. He does fit TT team-type guy.

      • arnie

wait! i thought Barnes inked a 4 year deal already? So was it just an offer?

        • Ernie Padaon

Nope. No deal. He’s still in New York too

          • arnie

            So your sayin’ there’s still a chance…..

Anybody think it is strange that Rivers closed down his “Rivers of Hope” foundation that helps out foster children?

    • Ernie Padaon

I think it is weird… Wonder what that is all about

      • JoseSD

Probably too busy with his own kids. Rivers reproduces like a Mormon

    • NativeSanDiegan

I didn’t know. Being in Hi, I hadn’t known about it. Too bad for the children that it’s completely closed down. I assume it’s in San Diego; is that correct? If so, it makes you wonder if something’s going on behind the scenes or if he’s unhappy.

  • arnie

Good for him, he’ll help them out. just not as a nose tackle.
    Take care Antonio
