Philadelphia Eagles Fans Are Excited That King Dunlap Is Gone

wait? what? Mandatory Credit: Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

When I don’t know much about a player, I try to get the reactions of other fans to see what the thought of that guy. I jumped on twitter to see what Philadelphia Eagles fans were thinking about King Dunlap skipping out of town.

Here is the gold that I found:

I don’t know how you can’t get excited about that. The Philly fans are so excited right now!

To top it off, I found this sick comedy of errors from an Eagles blog:

How you like that run blocking? I am sure that will get Ryan Mathews a few extra yards down the field!

Oh geez. Jeromey Clary on the right side and King Dunlap on the left side. This is going to be a comedy of errors. What is going on right now? What is happening?! Is this real life?

What makes me so sad, is the Eagles’ fan comment, that “they must really hate poor Rivers”

  • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

Ya this is a bad signing, check out the youtube video i just posted on the King post, dude literally hates this guy and talks shit non stop without holding back lol Furk!

    • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

And who the F is he blocking on those pics lol he raises his arms up as if there was someone coming near him…..oh my

      • tubbs45

HAHAHAHA he looks like a giant Cromartie, ewwww contact, ewww

        • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

“I really just don’t feel like touching any large sweaty dudes today, lets see if anyone notices”- KD

    • Ernie Padaon

that video cracked me up!!!! hahahaha

  • Rob Base

    Man very sad :(

  • tiiiiiiiiiiit11

We embrace your below-average play King! You will fit right in with the Chargers line and management alike!

  • lee

omg chargers will be embarrassingly bad next year unless they start making some damn moves

    • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

      Clowney Clowney

  • Stefanie Smith

Not that I can do anything about it. But to whoever made this decision, this simply is not acceptable work. Sorry. If it were anyone else in a regular job, they’d be fired.

    • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

They could use him for a backup for both LT & RT which would be ok, but I hope we aren’t counting on him to start.

      • Ernie Padaon

hahahahah… i might have fun with this KD deal all season! and by fun, i mean hate our whole season!!!

        • tubbs45

you need some of those chill pills… lol #WeGotTelescoed

  • RussinSactown

So the choices are Journeyman who was overwhelmed last year (Harris), Big Lazy, the fake injury Queen or King Dunlop, who I’m sure has Eagles fans packing his U-Haul as we speak. If I was Rivers I’d demand a trade to Jacksonville. Let Touchdown Jesus get killed.

    • Ernie Padaon

we are set to jet bro!

  • RussinSactown

I can feel a new hashtag coming out of this if it doesn’t get better quick. Maybe #WTFTom

  • lee

sign starcks then let gaither go then get warmack in the draft and the o-line is in decent shape

    • RussinSactown

If we could only be so lucky

  • RussinSactown The line that’s telling here is “Dunlap and Reynolds have been incredibly inconsistent, but age is on their side”. Telesco and the coaching staffs must think they can turn him into a front line starter. Hoping they’re right or at least that they get a real QB to back up Rivers.

  • Joey Nicks

Ernie, Clowny is going to be a Charger is what you’re saying?!?

Report: Chargers are starting a reality show with the title “Lets let our interns run the first day of FA” and Go!

  • Pete Spinning

    I kinda like the signing.

    • arnie

you realize you are the only voice of reason? because to me, he just looks like a big guy, that doesn’t understand, where he should be. if that is the biggest concern, that can be corrected.

      • Pete Spinning

Thanks Arnie. I did actually notice that I was the only one who said that. I have seen a lot of bad signings over the last 30 plus years of being a fan. This is not one of them. I know a lot of people probably think I am crazy, but what’s knew? I never get my panties in a bunch on the first two days of FA.

        • arnie

no problem. i just stand firm that “Big Name” FA, are not guarantees for success. the broncos signed manning last year, where’s the ring? they signed welker an vasquez. so what. they still have to line up and play. Because names don’t win games.
all i see Pete, is a Charger squad filling up with young, hungry players, with something to prove. Telesco is shopping for “talent”, not names. with a small budget. And in my book, that’s being smart GM, with an eye on the future.

  • Stefanie Smith

I think what kills me is this is all that they think Rivers deserves. If they valued him, like Broncos value Manning, they would surround with the best or close to it.

It’s disrespectful almost. This is all they think he is worth.

  • Bad Leroy Brown

Was TT just going down the list trying to get the goofiest names possible or did he actually see film on these guys?

    • Ernie Padaon

      Hahahahahahaha… I think so

As a Charger fan in Pgh. Pa I would just like to say of course the Dunlap signing may not work out but it does not hurt to try sometimes a second chance is what a player needs to realize this is better than minimum wage or flipping burgers & may just pick it up, The Raiders & other teams have had success doing this in the past.

  • RussinSactown

Now that I have a chance to think about it, given the way the Eagle “Dream team” performed, can we really trust ANYONE IN PHILLY to evaluate talent? I mean it did so well that Andy Reid is the new coach in KC. Just sayin.

    • arnie

LOL. you hit it on the Russell. How can we as Charger fans, that had to listen to norv tell us what great squads he coached. Only to tell us on his way out, he didn’t have Good enough players to work with.

  • Jake Richards

    is an excellent player!
