The Seattle Seahawks made some big time news by trading for WR Percy Harvin today from the Minnesota Vikings. The Seahawks will be giving up their 1st and 7th round pick this season and a mid round pick next season. That is a ton of loot, but I am sure that Russell Wilson is excited to get a new weapon in town.

That offense is going to be legit with Wilson, Marshawn Lynch and Percy Harvin. It cost a ton of picks, but the Seahawks are trying to keep up with the Joneses. The San Francisco 49ers are the favorites out of the conference and the Seahawks are trying to keep pace.

Now if the Chargers could try and keep pace with what is happening in the AFC West…

Daaaaaang, Big time move. Vikes get a Bomb pick to replace him and Russel gets a weapon. I hope Pete can deal with all of his headaches (literally) seems like he misses 4-6 games a year with those Migraines.

he misses a ton of games with those headaches… reminds me of terrell davis… always missed games with those migraines

I bet the Vikes go after Austin as his replacement

Dude, is it me or does this offseason have a mild Padres feel to it? I’m kind of worried about T’s words the other day and the lack of being on top of FA. Who knows though that could all change tomorrow, I wouldn’t be surprised if he packages a few tradable players away for draft picks.

it does have that feel… but it also seems that the sources that we usually have (acee) doesnt have their insider access card anymore

I bet that is driving Acee nuts… lol. Let him come up with compelling articles on his own, instead of being spoon-fed all of his “cutting edge” information… lol.

        • TheReturnOfMrBlanks

Acee is going to burn some bridges over there if he doesn’t shut it soon. He’s been cut off! lol “No soup for you, come back 1 year!”

i know right… he had all the scoop.. he might just have to move to washington

I think the chargers are to quite why haven’t we heard anything about more cuts or reworking deal to give us more cap space. At least the chiefs are trying to complete with the broncos. the faiders are stuck between a rock and a hard place but given the chance the are at least trying to right the ship. Yet the chargers are on this we arnt going to spend big money in free agency yet have they forgetting the rule you got to spend money to make money meaning you bring one or two agents and give the fans something to cheer for and ppl might fill up the seats. I for one am not alone when I say this season might not be better than last year. Norv turner was right in the sences the chargers won’t make the play offs cause the broncos and chiefs and only going to get better while we and I say it rebuild.

You need to relax, free agency starts tomorrow. He’s not trying to fill up the seats in March obviously he’s still going to sign free agents he’s just telling the fans we aren’t going after the 8-10mil/season guys because of the cap.

Seahawks should’ve traded up to get Tavon Austin. Percy Harvin is always injured.
