San Diego Chargers Re-Sign Long Snapper Mike Windt

The San Diego Chargers have re-signed long snapper Mike Windt to a 4-year deal. At least we will be able to get the snap off when we punt the ball! Sorry, still a little frustrated about only offering a low tender to Danario Alexander.

Windt did a good job as the long snapper on the team. He was the long snapper that was able to keep things steady during that hellish season in the special teams. It is a good signing, just not something to bring home to mama.

Great signing! After seeing the Raiders screw up that opener last year… Long snappers are top of my list. Hahaha.

Why can’t centers learn how to be longsnappers? If you could make your back up center into a longsnapper then you wouldn’t need to use the roster spot

Sounds easy in theory… Tossing that ball that far between your legs is a little different than just tossing it a few yards back.
