San Diego Chargers Interested in OG Andy Levitre

The San Diego Chargers have interest in Buffalo Bills OG Andy Levitre, per Kevin Acee. They also have an interest in any big body that can stand in front of Philip Rivers. If you are pushing 3 bills and can push some people around, go down to Chargers park and knock on the door, they probably will let you in.

If Louis Vasquez is going to walk, then there is definitely a better replacement in Levitre. There is a lot of talk that the Chargers could move to a zone blocking scheme and Levitre would be a better fit for the team than Vasquez.

Levitre is going to cost top dollar. He could be the highest paid interior linemen in the league. Will the Chargers be able to convince him to come west?

Tom Telesco says that he is not going to toss big bucks during this free agency, but it is liars season. We should know really soon.

More top notch reporting from Kevin Acee, next he’ll report breaking news that the Chargers are looking to draft a CB somewhere in the first three rounds

      Hahahah… Thought the same thing

Acee doesn’t have the same insider information he used to, when he was brown nosing aj. He needs to rebuild his access.

Oh, and remember when he said this?… Philip Rivers should be traded, if they don’t draft an oline to protect him adequately. How safe is that statement?!!! Is that even considered news? It reminds me of when players say “We lost the game, because the other team executed their game plan better”. Wow… Never would have figured that out on my own… Lmao!!!

You see the new mock draft with our Bolts taking Poyer in 2nd round.

Signing Levitre makes a whole lot of sense, Delissandris go get your cell phone and get him here.

This league is all about give an take. If Levitre is indeed an upgrade, or just better suited for the scheme they want to run, then let’s move on. My thinking on this comment at first glance, would be they may be trying to move toward improving the protection of PR, by giving them more options on offense. Specifically, the running game.
If memory serves me correctly, when LT was the league MVP, he did it when the guards where more mobile. And PR wasn’t seeing the turf so often.
    Food for thought….
