Multiple Teams Interested In San Diego Chargers CB Antoine Cason

Multiple teams are interested in the services of San Diego Chargers CB Antoine Cason. Some Chargers fans have no issues with letting Cason walk. When Cason gets beat, he gets beat pretty bad and those are the things that are most memorable.

He is a solid corner and teams are interested because they see the value in having the young corner. Cason is going to test free agency to see what his value is. If the report from Adam Caplan is correct, then he will price himself right out of the San Diego market.

The Philadelphia Eagles are likely one of the teams that has interest. The Chargers probably would want to bring him back, but won’t overpay for him. The Denver Broncos probably are interested also. It also feels like half the teams released players in the secondary today. There will be interest.

Cason probably will sign on with a new team next week. Then the Chargers will have to find more players to help out in the secondary. Lucky for us, this NFL draft is deep at the corner position.

There is plenty of talent in the second and third rounds. Tyrann Mathieu might be available in the 4th and I would love to have the Honey Badger in San Diego.

In free agency, we could go after Mike Jenkins or Sean Smith. There is a lot of players that are available that all can do a decent job.

It makes sense to sign a free agent and draft a player. You can never have too many options in the secondary.

We should definitely pick up the honey badger!

Carson can let the door hit him on the way out. Tired of seeing him play 15 yards back on a wr.

Couldn’t agree more. There is a reason our 2nd biggest need is CB. We have two bad corners. Time for new blood. I wish we were in a position to draft 2 good corners, honestly.

Anyone who actually watched the games knows how terrible Cason is, im still upset they passed on Brandon Flowers for this clown. I’m glad he won’t be back I was sick of seeing him give every receiver a 15 yard cushion. He couldn’t handle speed receivers or big receivers. RememberPlaxico’s 3 TD game against him. Or against the Chiefs this year where he just let Bowe blow right by him then just grabbed his waist instead of knocking the ball away. Cason won’t be missed, at least not by me

Those are my EXACT reasons for wanting him gone, Jose!!! Before last season began, I posted something on here saying what we are saying right now, and I got murdered with pro-Cason & Jammer comments.. Everyone kept saying they are good, serviceable CB’s. I knew it then, and I know it now. They are terrible. Add Cason to the list of AJ busts.
