Kansas City Chiefs Sign WR Dwayne Bowe to 5-Year Deal

The Kansas City Chiefs made some big time moves today at the franchise tag deadline. They franchise tagged LT Branden Albert to protect Alex Smith‘s backside and they kept his top target WR Dwayne Bowe for 5 years. That means Antoine Cason or whoever the San Diego Chargers have in the secondary will have to deal with that headache for the next 5 seasons. SIGH!

The Chiefs are making good things happen. Is it our turn yet?

      • Sergio Quintero

I have feeling its dee Miliner, that D just wasn’t the same after Brandon Carr left for Big D. Teams just started throwing away from Brandon Flowers, and making him irrelevant, the corner they signed from the Raiders was so bad, he was cut midseason (brain freeze can’t remember his name).

        • lblocz

          i could see that happening.

  • Rob Base

Draft is getting to look better at pick 11 now.

  • Preston Niedert

I don’t know but now that the chiefs have trade for Alex smith and tagged Brandon Albert and signed Dwayne bowe. The chargers better step it up a notch and resign a few players and look at signing a few free agents. Also we can cut ppl and save money and rework contracts for you ppl saying they don’t have cap space.
