Lightning Bolt Ink - Yes or No?

It’s the off-season, so what better time than to get some new ink. Right? I don’t know about you, but I have a good feeling about the San Diego Chargers new head coach and things to come. That said, I believe it is time to get a nice new tattoo with our beloved lightning bolt featured.

The photo for this blog is a possibility (with correct year or no years at all). Do you have a Chargers themed tattoo? Do you want one? If you have one tell your friends here at BoltBeat about it.

Chat it up Bolt Fans!

      I bet that hurt!

That’s it Cindi; go ahead and promote stupidity. Next to smoking getting a Tattoo is number two on the list of dumb things to do with your money. Why not save up and help the team by purchasing season seats.

It’s under $100 and I already have the money saved for my season tickets. :-)

      • 1961 Fan

What a deal, a tattoo for under one hundred dollars, why not have the word FOOL tattooed on your forehead? I thought were smarter than all those other so called writers on Bolt Beat!

I have the chargers wreitten all over my heart but not in ink. Ink would be for somrthing we have control over, as fans the injurys, the management hired, the ownership, and the way the team syncs during the season is all a wildcard as many of the fans know. You get 1 or two malcontents and your season can go south.

This is the reason I call for drafting players close to home, their going to be more loyal, play harder and be a family with the other players with the same attitude. Some fans that just scream for new blood and point to players high on the bigboard will end up more disappointed than not. Jackson was a great example, he was all about Jackson. People scoff at the mental test and interviews but you find out more about a player than just stats. Stats are nice but a football player is a human being and will gravitate to folks like himself. We need more Weddles, Rivers and good upstanding men who form relationships with their fellow players. Basketball is easier in this case as only 10-15 guys have to click. So in football you have to break your team down into positions. Oline is really important, they have to be 7-8 guys that are one as a unit. And so-on it goes, each unit trying to compete to execute better than the others. In doing so, game time they all come together as a unit having each others back.

This is how the great John Wooden and the other creaters of dynastys did it. It’s teaching the players that football is just like life. Strenghth is in being part of a family, and being as good as you can be to support it.

Cindi; i WILL GET MY BOLT WHEN THE CHARGERS SHOW ME THAT THEY ARE READY TO BE A FAMILY WITHOUT MONEY GETTING IN THE WAY. rIVERS SHOULD RESTRUCTURE HIS CONTRACT IF APPROACHED BY THE HEAD COACH AND SHOWN HOW IT WILL BETTER THE TEAM. eVERY cHARGER PLAYER SHOULD FOLLOW THE LEAD, ESPECIALLY THE HIGHER PAID ONES THAT HAVE THE SUPERBOWL AS THEIR PRIMARY GOAL. MONEY DIVIDED AMONG THE FAMILY WILL ATTRACT OTHER FAMILY TYPES IN FREEAGENCY THAT HAVE THE SAME EXPECTATIONS. iT’S THE GUYS WHO MOVE ON IN THIS CASE THAT ARE THERE TO GET PAID, AND THEY WILL FIND A SOUTER.
This is what makes a patriot type selfless team that wins year in and out. No one looks to cover the mistakes others make like family. Family looks out for the wellfare in all aspects of life. You need a 53 man squad + practice squad that all see and live the game the same. Good players, executing as a unit beats great players on a good team that look out for themselves first. I love my Chargers and would make a mark of my faithfullness to the team when they prove that they are part of all of our family by doing all their parts to win the big one. We provide the money so they can live without working, they work together to play winning football so we all have our hopes achieved for us. So don’t write in about a player who has laid down their best and because of poor GM and Coaching putting together a misfit bunch of players who don’t gravitate to the same inspirations, and feel it was their fault. Player personnel should be ran as a company with all personnel holding shares of their team. The team does well they get paid a bonus for a great performance. The Chargers have had the personnell to win a Superbowl, they just haven’t been tuned to the same tune the coach has developed for them. The last 3 years the Coach hasn’t made a tune in which it brings out what the players can do best, only his own tune was offered and you see the results.
I believe Spanos has put the right men in the right positions to get this done, if they all show respect for what each was paid to do and don’t interfer with each others methodology. Sometimes it looks like a piece of art will be horrible until it’s finished, it takes trust of everyone adding their specialty. Sorry for the lenghth but it’s how much I want the Charger players to see that this is about more than themselves, in doing so they’ll reach the highths they all aspire to.

Wow. Thanks for taking the time to type that out. I can’t wait for the Chargers to live up to your expectations and for you to get your bolt.
