That boy is fast!!!!! West Virginia WR/RB Tavon Austin just flew through the 40 today, flying to a 4.25 second time. The kid has ridiculous speed. Watch some of the kids highlights and you will see him blowing past defenders with his ridiculous quickness.

His biggest downfall is his size. The kid is only 5-foot-8 and 174 pounds. The kid is going to get smacked around in the NFL and there has to be concerns with durability at that size.

They can’t hit him of they can’t catch him! One analyst compared him to Eric Metcalf. He is expected to go somewhere in the 1st or 2nd round. I don’t think he will be considered by the San Diego Chargers, but we need as many good football players that we can get our hands on.

Knile Davis out of Arkansas with the fastest RB time so far. Unofficial 4.30.

I’ve said it before…if he’s there in the 5th or 6th round, I wouldn’t mind seeing us pick him up.

Combine coverage is great..until they pan in on AJ Smith sitting in the Redskins booth with Mike Shanahan. My stomach started turning.

If I was RG III I’d be sick now.

Gil Brandt had him hand timed at 4.17. Looks like his “official” time is 4.34 though. Strange that there would be such a disparity between the official and unofficial times.

Can play RB, had 340 yds rushing against Oklahoma, if you want to replace Sproles this guy might be better, and he would play 3rd down back and slot receiver, but I doubt he would be available at pick 45 in the second round. But if your serious about taking BPA, if he’s there you have take him in the second.

These timing methods are stupid they say the time is started by hand an electronically stopped why not have it all electronic, like a laser at the start and finish that starts and stops when the runner goes past it they said his time was 4.34 and the fastest time was 4.26 or something like that but when they put both runners on the screen simultaneously it looked like it was a near tie
