Mike McCoy Has Big Expectations For WR Vincent Brown

San Diego Chargers Head Coach Mike McCoy has high hopes for WR Vincent Brown coming into the seaosn. McCoy spoke at the NFL Combine and said that Brown is a great route runner and is very disciplined (Michael Gehlken).

We all have had high hopes for Brown. It is too bad that he went down with an injury last season. He has struggled with injury issues for his first two seasons in the league and it is something that we will have to keep our eyes on. Can he stay healthy?

If he can get onto the field, he should be able to compete for a starting job. His return will be a huge upgrade to the receiver group. Danario Alexander, Malcom Floyd and Brown would be a nice set of receivers IF they can stay healthy. IF!

Big expectations…. We all have those… And I think this guy pays off HUGE this year.

The only way he gets on the field is if he stay off it during the preason. But that won’t happen and knowing vincent brown he will find away to get hurt again or he just had really bad luck.

So you’re saying he’s injury prone because some fool collapsed on his ankle as he kept his feet inbounds for a touchdown?

      • Preston Niedert

        Pretty much.

Vincent Brown is the underrated version of Mike Wallace.

More potential than Royal, Meachem or Spurlock in the slot forsure.
