Position Groups the San Diego Chargers Should Watch at NFL Combine

The Underwear Olympics starts this weekend, so we will all get a sneak peek at the upcoming talent in the league. For the San Diego Chargers, there are a number of different groups that we will need to focus in on. Here are the main groups that we will be watching:

ANYONE ON OFFENSE! The offense was booty last season. Mainly, we need to watch the offensive linemen. Offensive tackles and offensive guards will be at the top of our priority list. Watching 300-pound dudes running 40-yard dashes really won’t show how well they will block for Philip Rivers, but it still is impressive to know that they can run 40-yards faster than me.

Running Backs: We have Ryan Mathews, but we need to grab another back. We need to get another prospect on the roster that can run the football. Someone that can help out in the passing game also, blocking and catching passes. There should be some pretty good backs avaialble in the later rounds of the draft. Watch the group and see how some of them perform.

Secondary: Antoine Cason and Quentin Jammer are free agents, so we need corners. Also, we still are looking to fill that hole next to Eric Weddle. It is a passing league, so we meed to gran as many of these guys that we can.

I know I want to see how Tyrann Mathieu and Denard Robinson do. What certain players are you interested in watching during the combine?
