2013 Chargers Combine Watch ~ Running Backs

I need to drink more milk!

If you read what I write about the San Diego Chargers here on BoltBeat, you know how much I adore Ryan Mathews.  He is a great running back when he is on the field, the problem is that he is very delicate and can’t stop breaking his collarbone.  Which seems like an odd injury to get due to shoulder pads, but that’s a different tangent.  It’s time to get on board and look to the future with a new running back.  One that can play the entire season and be a superstar.

According to the Combine menu (I’d like to order a running back!) there are some great options.  Since the Chargers will be grabbing a lineman for their first pick in the draft, the logical next step is another lineman or a running back.  First up, Eddie Lacy, a 6′, 220 pound beast who has it all.  I think he will shock some people at the Combine and for sure go in the top ten.  Others we should watch, Joseph Randle and Andre Ellington.  Randle is 6′ 1″ and explodes out of the pocket while Ellington is a 5′ 10″ speedster who can find holes in the line.

This is going to be a great Combine!
