Green Bay Packers Expected to Release Charles Woodson

14 year veteran Charles Woodson could be looking for a new home soon. The Green Bay Packers are on the verge of releasing the 8x Pro Bowl player.

It doesn’t look like Woodson wants to hang the cleats up yet either. He will likely look to join a Super Bowl contender to try and go out a champion like Ray Lewis. Does that mean that the San Diego Chargers will not be considered?

I don’t care how old Charles Woodson is, I would welcome him with open arms to the San Diego Chargers. He would look good in the secondary next to Eric Weddle. He would be an leader in the locker room and I just love the way he plays.

BUT, he won’t end up playing in a Chargers uniform. He wants to go to a contender and sadly, the Chargers are not considered that anymore. Maybe Bill Bellichick and the New England Patriots make a run at grabbing him.

Ernie, are you serious? The no pay patriots? He may want to play for a contender, but i doubt he’ll take a pay cut.

incentive filled deal? the texans? the Packers… oh wait.

Oh in that case, if you’re talking incentives, somewhere else? Then I can see that. If he wants to play here, contention may be a few years away and the only incentive the Chargers can offer, is the weather.
