Morning Dump: San Diego Chargers News Around the Web

NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith came out firing against San Diego Chargers team doctor David Chao during a press conference at the Super Bowl as the union asked that the Chargers find a “suitable replacement.”

They’re not Pro Bowlers. But, then, the Chargers didn’t have any of those in 2012.

Guard Louis Vasquez and cornerback Antoine Cason are crucial enough, however, that we will view them as litmus tests over the next month.

Former Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach turned Bird and other players on to boxing as part of his unorthodox offseason workout program. The now-San Diego Chargers linebacker still incorporates boxing into his workouts and hired the Red Raiders’ former boxing trainer Terry Washington to be the gym’s instructor.
