New York Giants Release RB Ahmad Bradshaw. Should Chargers Be Interested?

The New York Giants have released RB Ahmad Bradshaw today. Bradshaw will go through waivers and will likely no get claimed and will be available to all teams to be picked up as a free agent. Bradshaw is a 26 year old back that is likely best used splitting time with another back on the roster. Sounds like a running back that we already have on the San Diego Chargers, but together they could make a nice team.

Should the Chargers take a chance on Ahmad Bradshaw?

We will be in need of a back to pair up with Ryan Mathews and some of the free agent options might cost a little more than we are willing to spend. Bradshaw should come at a fair price.

Team up Bradshaw and Mathews in the backfield and they would make one complete running back. If one of them goes down with an injury, then hopefully the other one will be able to fill in.

Someone already jumped in on wikipedia and placed Bradshaw on the San Diego Chargers. Wishful thinking I guess.

i wouldnt mind Bradshaw for for a backup RB he could push Ryan Mathews for the starting job and he could rotate with Mathews if he whent down bardshaw would be able to handle the load I think the chargers should pick him up and bring him or training camp nothing gained nor loss and it saves us some money to use for other spots instead of going out and signing one.

I have a an obvious pet peeve on TB, but that guy made me wish we had that. Even though we held him, and VJ.

He is a hard runner. He has had a bad foot, but if he could be acquired for a reasonable price he could be a great fit. I do hope we draft a young workhorse in the draft.
