Dolphins LT Jake Long looking for $10 Mill/Year. That Won’t Fit The Chargers Budget

Anyone that was hoping for the Chargers to try and make a run at the left tackle can just shut the door on that possibility right now. The Chargers already have $6.5 mill going to dead weight, big lazy Jared Gaither and can’t afford to fork over another $10 on a player that has looked like he is on the decline and has been bitten by the injury bug lately. The possibilities of signing Long were slim already, but that price tag already out of our budget.

Time to start looking at other left tackle options.
