Fisher is the big left tackle from Central Michigan whose athleticism and size has been impressive. He fits the biggest need on the offensive line for the San Diego Chargers. Other teams that are in need of a left tackle will try to make a move up in the draft before the Chargers to take Fisher.
If only Jared Gaither could kick that lazy injury bug, then we could look at a different position with our top pick. Instead, we need to get as many big dudes for the offensive front that we can grab.
If Fisher is not available with the 11th pick in the draft, then we will look at the next best offensive lineman. Moving down in the draft and snatching up more picks could be an option as well.
Keep an eye on the big left tackle this weekend to get a glimpse at what could be our future blind side protector. I am sure Philip Rivers would enjoy this selection.
