New York Jets Dangle Darrelle Revis For Trade Bait

So the New York Jets are exploring trade possibilities for CB Darrelle Revis, per Jason LaCanfora. This is Revis Island we are talking about. The best cover corner in the league.

Guess who needs help at corner?

Our San Diego Chargers.

Wonder if new GM Tom Telesco wants to make a splash with one of his roster moves this offseason? John Pagano wouldn’t object.

The possibilities of adding Revis are amazing, but the team has bigger needs and there isn’t a ton of cap room to work with. In order to get Revis, we would have to package draft picks together, but then where would we get help for the offensive line?

Our biggest priority this offseason will be to get Philip Rivers some help on offense. We need some big boys on the offensive line and we need to add more weapons for the offense.

Whoever trades for Revis will need to find a way to sign him to a new contract. His current contract restricts the use of the franchise tag on him also. Don’t know what the price for Revis will be, but the Jets will take the best package of draft picks that they can haul.

Get Revis. He can play O-Line and CB. Problem solved.

Ernie… You are ALL fired up lately! I like it! I don’t know if i give up revis, unless his injury is worse than it is. Sounds like some New York smoke screen to me.

Or, he is the REAL cancer in new york’s locker room… In which case… No thanks.

We can always sign JeMarcus Russell for the line. 308 lbs. Will sign cheap.

  • Joey Nicks

If we can get him for the right “price,” and price. I’m all for it, but im moore worried about O-line and WR.

Hell no, NY would want way too much in return and this guy has already had 2 holdouts, no thanks Beavis Island
