Chargers Scouts Meet WIth SDSU CB Leon McFadden At Senior Bowl

The San Diego Chargers scouts have met with SDSU CB Leon McFadden yesterday, per Draft Countodown. McFadden has been impressive during Senior Bowl practices and has stood out as one of the top corners that will be participating in the Senior Bowl.

He has shown that he can be a solid cover corner and knows how to make plays on the football. He is creating buzz out at Senior Bowl practices with his play. Our scouts have better not have ignored our own backyard.

He tweaked his knee a little bit today and hopefully it doesn’t slow him down for the game or even the combine. He will likely be a second day pick in the 2nd or 3rd round.

The Chargers will have a need at corner in the draft. Antoine Cason and Quentin Jammer are free agents. Shareece Wright and Marcus Gilchrist are going to get a lot of opportunities to play, but teams are always looking for corners.

I still remember all the hype that Cason was made up to be….too bad he hasn’t lived up to it….can’t wait to see the Chargers’ 2013 Secondary & who will be the starters…

I like this! I’ve seen him play and he has the makings of a good NFL corner, not Revis caliber but also not Cason, a good and solid player. A fourth round pick of him is a good value.

you can never have to many good corners. not to mention, this kid plays i the same stadium.
