Ryan Leaf back in prison

Jan 6, 2013; Baltimore, MD, USA; An official NFL football

According to NFL.com the San Diego Chargers quarterback we would like to just forget about is back in jail.  Ryan Leaf has been returned to the Montana State prison from a drug treatment center for threatening a staff member and behavioral problems at the center.

The former Chargers quarterback was charged last spring with breaking into two houses and stealing prescription painkillers near his hometown of Great Falls. He pleaded guilty in May to reduced charges, and his five-year sentence called for spending nine months in a locked drug treatment facility as an alternative to prison.

I was kind of hoping this was his chance to find his way but it looks like he messed it up again.  We will hear about him again in about five years when he is done serving this prison sentence.

His football career aside, his life has been a tragedy. That man has some serious demons.
