Playoff Weekend ~ Divisional Championships!

Wow, last weekends games were so exciting.  Even though me and my husband were having a fun weekend away we still sat and watched football.  The Ravens beating Denver was definitely the highlight of the weekend.  I told you it would edge of your seat exciting and that game certainly was.  Now, we are at the pinnacle, the place where the best teams in the AFC and NFC face off to see who gets to head into the Superbowl.  This Sunday’s games will be jump up and yell worthy, so make sure you don’t miss them.  Here’s what’s up.

NFC Championship Game – 49ers at Falcons (12:30, Fox) – Kaepernick vs. Ryan, Gore vs. Turner and Crabtree vs. White.   This game will be good.  In the air, I’m going going to go with the Falcons.  Atlanta has been able to air it out with amazing accuracy and giving them an average of almost 400 yards per game (369).  The 49ers have the advantage on the ground, but I think the Falcons defense are going to be able to slow them down.  My pick:  Atlanta Falcons.

AFC Championship Game – Ravens at Patriots (3:30, CBS) – Flacco vs. Brady, the shootout!  This game is going to be the upset of the season.  Everyone expects the Patriots to win.. again.  But fear not my friends.  Flacco, Rice and Boldin will not let us down.  They are going to sneak into Foxboro and upset the Patriots.  Sure, Tom Brady will probably throw three touchdowns, but he will not be able to win the game.  Expect this one to come down to the wire with all kinds of crazy antics and hopefully no cheating.  My Pick:  Baltimore Ravens.

I am a little sad that we only have three games of football left this season.  But I am so looking forward to next season that I’m a little happy too.
