Broncos Promote Adam Gase to OC. Now Where Will Ken Whisenhunt End Up Now?

The Denver Broncos have promoted QB Coach Adam Gase to the team’s offensive coordinator, filling Mike McCoy’s old position. Take Gase off of the list as a possibility to become the Chargers offensive coordinator. McCoy mentioned that he would not steal anyone from the Denver staff, so it seemed unlikely.

One coach that had been rumored as a possibility to fill that Denver offensive coordinator position was Ken Whisenhunt. With that position now filled, where will Whisenhunt end up? Could he be a possibility for our offensive coordinator position?

Any objections to Whisenhunt becoming the Chargers play caller?

I would like to see Whisenhunt get a look here. If he can get Kurt Warner to the Superbowl at 40, he can get PR up and running again.

AND… heaven forbid… but, if McCoy ends up being a complete dud… you have an immediate candidate for Interim HC, that has Superbowl experience. He could also give McCoy some advice, as he is new to the HC role ; )

Loving all the moves being done in Chargersville. All the positivity is super refreshing to me. Looking forward to every little move that is made from here on out. Its about time we had things looking up for the team.
